The 2nd annual Exeter Arms Pumpkin Pop & machine Gun Shoot will be Sunday October 26. It will be held at our new “range” South of Friend Nebraska. This location is much nicer than our old crushed rock location. It’s out of the way and a very safe location. The Pumpkin Pop will be run different this year. Much more organized & much more fun! We will all meet at Exeter Arms (305 N. Missouri Ave Exeter NE 68351) and convoy the 10 miles out to the range. There will be a free social hour after the shoot with beer, soft drinks & snacks for those who would like to attend after the shoot. The following schedule will be kept to as close as possible but we are here to have fun so we will have a degree of flexibility depending on the numbers of shooters we have. You are encouraged to bring your own rifle to shoot the pumpkins with. Just like last year each pumpkin will have a little treat in it (Tannerite). There will also be some surprises on the range to shoot. We will have rifles available to rent for those who do not have one to shoot the pumpkins with. In order to defray the high cost of the tannerite & pumpkins there will be a $35 fee for shooters who R.S.V.P. and $40 for drop-in shooters this year. We will have a number of machine guns on the range that can be shot during the machinegun session. Drop-ins are welcome, but make my life easier & Let me know you are coming. Be sure to let us know how many shooters are in your party. I will be out of the country from 10/8 to 10/18 so email your R.S.V.P. in that time frame as we will not be taking calls, but will be checking email several times a day.  The schedule for the shoot and Machinegun experience is as follows:

12:00 to 1:00- Sign in, safety briefings waver signing. Please bring your own eye protection. We will have disposable foam ear plugs for your hearing protection. (Shooters under 19 will have to have a parent or legal guardian present to sign for them.)

1:15- Convoy out to the range. (We will have plenty of parking along the road)

1:30-3:30- Blow the living S#!T OUT OF PUMPKINS!!! (Will adjust time depending on number of shooters)

3:40- 5:00- Submachine gun rentals. We will have 7 non-reactive steel targets in which to shoot with the sub-guns.  All prices will be 10% off of the normal Machinegun experience pricing.

5:30 -???- Social hour at the Exeter Fire Hall. Beer, soft drinks & snacks will be free to all shooters & guests.
